What is corporate team building? How do I go about doing it?

Recognize what people’s strengths and weaknesses are. Some people are more social than others. In the sales business this would obviously have a direct effect on who approaches the customer first. Some may be more mathematically inclined and the list goes on forever. You need to harness the positive skills of your employees in these exercises and nurture it. Giving everyone a role may also help everyone feel a bit more special about the job they work for as it will make them think they are needed.

You could have corporate parties and celebrate holidays. Corporate parties can help familiarize your employees with one another. This can help them a feel for their co-workers and their management. Having good relationships with the people you work with can boost the moral of your team and thus be more productive for them and you than to not. A break is also helpful in the same regard.

Another way to assist in this matter is to use a drop-box or any sort of means to hear the voices of your employees. Employees usually have much to say about the company they work for and they may offer great advice at times! It is also another thing good for moral as well, as employees like to know they will be heard when there is a problem rather than ignored. This would add a sense of responsibility to the management and would be a good thing overall.

There are also games you could play to practice corporate team building with your team. You can make up your own but search for one but the lessons of the games are usually about leadership, problem solving, trust, and much more! These games could be a helpful way of giving your employees the information they need without cramming it all down their throats.

There are workshops that you can access for assistance as well. Many websites and companies offer a service to help build a corporate team. They offer games and activities that help nurture the positive aspects of people in a company. There will probably be fees and hassles associated with this method but it could be worth it if you are stuck and need further assistance.

That is all there is to corporate team building exercises. The basics are to recognize your employees, familiarize them with yourself and their co-workers, and to promote a productive atmosphere! You may very well be on your way to a very successful corporate team!

Sports Fun is proud to present a spectacular summer program! Each 30 minute weekly sports class is jam packed with crazy games, fitness challenges and sports activities that are guaranteed to bring out the athlete in every child. Through exercise, we want children to focus on fitness and fun this summer creating healthier hearts and stronger bodies! The 8 week summer program begins Monday June 21st and continues through Friday August 13th. Below you will find our summer curriculum.

EIGHT WEEKS OF FITNESS AND FUN!

Personal Fitness Tests – Using an age appropriate Sports Fun fitness test, based on the Presidential Fitness Challenge, the children will be inspired to create a healthier body that is strong and responsive.

Track and Field Events – Standing broad jump, running long jump, baton relay, hurdles and the shuttle run – do we have any future Olympian’s in training?

Sport Ball – This fast moving game uses a combination of football, soccer and basketball skills. The ability to throw, run, switch directions and score is essential in this game as well as good teamwork and sportsmanship. Game ON!

Frisbee Golf- A ten target “golf course” is set up for teams of up to four. Using a Frisbee, each player will tee off counting how many throws. it takes to ultimately hit each target. Players keep up with their score card. It.s par for the course!

Punt, Pass and Kick Football – Kids will learn how to drop kick a football, throw for distance and accuracy, execute a running „kick off. and work in teams of three to be quarterback, center and receiver!

Super Soccer – This game of soccer is super because we use two, three, sometimes four balls during a single game! Kids have to stay on their toes and use their feet wisely in this game of ability and dexterity.

Kooky Kickball – Throw out the old rules of kickball and roll in the new! No one stands around in the outfield waiting for the ball – everyone must handle the ball before stopping the kicker from scoring! Play Ball!

Sports Circuit – The circuit consists of 10 or more stations which include sports equipment and different items used in each of the weekly curriculum challenges. Students will replicate skills they.ve learned in this Focus on Fitness culminating station rotation.

Please read the following important information regarding the Sports Fun Summer Program:

$40.00 p/class p/week for 1 or 2 classes – $35.00 p/class for three or more consecutive classes (this is NOT a per child fee – it is a per CLASS fee)

30 minute classes for up to 20 children per class – Age appropriate lesson plans for Pre-K and K – 5th grades.

HOST schools – Access to an indoor classroom, cafeteria area, chorus room or all purpose room is required for rainy day Sports Fun activities. No rain out days or make up days will need to be rescheduled.

Coaches and directors will sign off weekly regarding the number of classes taught at the school. Each week should stay consistent throughout the summer.

Schools will be invoiced the week of July 12th for classes taken during the first four weeks. Final billing will be the week of August 9th for the ending four weeks of classes.

Classes will begin as early as 9:00 with the last class beginning no later than 4:00.

Sports Fun coaches will come to your school and teach in a large shaded area on your playground or will meet at a nearby park where following classes you might include a picnic lunch, playground time and a nature walk to this inexpensive weekly field trip.

“Fit-op-poly” -Using a fitness board game played with over-sized dice, each child competes to improve
their own fitness level through exercise challenges and movement skills. Game On!

Super Soccer – This game of soccer is super because we use two, three, sometimes four balls during a
single game! Kids have to stay on their toes and use their feet wisely in this game of ability and
dexterity.

Wacky Relay Races – Can you say ‘relay races with a twist’? We’ve come up with the craziest items using
everything but the kitchen sink incorporated into our ‘wacky relays’. The kids will come back asking for
more!

Fitness Challenge, the children will be inspired to create a healthier body that is strong and

Bandana Ball – Teams compete to grab bandanas from their opponents while trying to out run them to
the safety line! Team work and sportsmanship are imperative to win this game!

outfield waiting for a ball – everyone must handle the ball before stopping the kicker from scoring! Play

Partner Stunts – Pick a Partner and get ready to show how you can work together through movement
skills, following directions, showing speed and flexibility all the while keeping it fun and safe at the same
time!

Ultimate Frisbee – Frisbees for EVERYONE! Throw for distance, throw for accuracy, throw to team mates
and hit the targets! Get your Frisbee on!

Sports Circuit – The circuit consists of 10 or more stations which include sports equipment and different
items used in each of the weekly curriculum challenges. Students will replicate skills they’ve learned in
this Summer of Fitness and Fun culminating station rotation.

The first step to planning an event is determining its purpose, whether it is for a wedding, company, birthday, festival, graduation or any other event requiring extensive planning. From this corporate party planner  needs to choose entertainment, location, guest list, speakers, and content. The location for events is endless, but with event planning they would likely be held at hotels, convention centers, reception halls, or outdoors depending on the event. Once the location is set the coordinator/planner needs to prepare the event with staff, set up the entertainment, and keep contact with the client. After all this is set the event planner has all the smaller details to address like set up of the event such as food, drinks, music, guest list, budget, advertising and marketing, decorations, all this preparation is what is needed for an event to run smoothly. An event planner needs to be able to manage their time wisely for the event, and the length of preparation needed for each event so it is a success.
